Everick Brown Design is hiring a Designer to join our fun team based in NYC. The role of the Designer is responsible for working within a team environment, collaboration directly with the design team. The candidate should be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously, helping clients of various size and scale to achieve their design goals. Must have a positive attitude and be a good team player! Associate/Junior designers also encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES + DUTIES
* Assisting on all project goals through all design phases.
* Independently formulate designs under the guidance of Everick Brown Design
*Creating initial design sketches, color themes and ideas based on client requirements and space availability
*Develop, prepare and produce CAD drawings and furniture plans, presentations and schedules.
* Prepare senior designer and team for client presentations.
* Work independently on pricing furniture & materials for clients and create client proposals.
* Take initiative, problem solve, collaborate & communicate effectively with the Design Team.
* Prioritize tasks and coordinate completion of multiple projects.
* Assist the team in sourcing finishes, fixtures, furnishings, fabrics, lighting and accessories.
* Assist and prepare for site visits, client meetings, and furniture installations
* Type meeting notes and maintain project binders as the project progresses.
*Visiting job sites to analyze space availability, design needs and the purpose of the space
*Attending client meetings to understand the design needs and client preferences regarding interior styles and colors

JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
* Interior design: 3-5 years experience (preferred).
* Must be detail oriented.
* Amazing communication and interpersonal skills, plus the ability to be assertive and clear with vendors and subcontractors.
